Hi people! this is our long story short:

Fatima is from Norrtälje, Sweden (near Stockholm).
As a child she dreamt of going to France to learn French.
One day, she goes to do just that.

Nicolas is from Aix en Provence, France.
He lives and studies engineering in Lyon.
He knows he wants to leave his country to explore other places.

One day they meet and decide to stick together, and combine their goals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are trying to move in to Göteborg. We need a place to stay.
Fatima is starting languages studies in GU, while Nicolas looks for jobs.

We wish to meet the people of Göteborg and start making friends. It would help us blend in, find an apartment, and who knows, why not a job!

While we would intenseley search for apartments during the day, we'd be thrilled to hang out with you at night in the city or chill at home.

Interests

We are genuinely fond of people. Life is short and you get to do so few, but the people you meet change your life everyday.

We love cooking, playing cards, playing music, nature and learning about cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fatima bungeed from the highest bridge in Europe (192m) in Austria, last september.

Nicolas hiked from Cusco to Machu Picchu in Peru, three years ago.

Teach, Learn, Share

For a start, we love to learn, practice and teach languages. This has been a great way to make friends so far. Fatima speaks Swedish, English, French and Moroccan. Nicolas speaks French, English, Spanish and Portuguese.

From her work as life assistant for a disabled lady --and friend--, she has gained great insight into people's personalities. She is extraordinarely observative.
He has always been passionate about science matters, and also fond of human relations. He's got a sharp mind.
