Overview
About Me
I am a Junior college student attending Bates College and will be studying abroad in the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland. My professor has given the group of students independent travel time in our semester so I will be traveling to a number of countries by myself or in very small groups.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that Coachsurfing is an amazing way to get to know locals while experiencing a new place.
Interests
I love literature, fashion, feminist issues, trying new foods, exploring new territories and cultures. I enjoy walking long distances, kayaking, and getting to know people. I somewhat enjoy politics, specifically issues regarding the US carceral system. I also love discussing intersectionality, specifically issues dealing with race/ethnicity, gender, class and nationality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to Uganda when I was 15 to help sell, install and instruct the local population how to effectively use mosquito nets because at the time Uganda was an African country most effected my Malaria. This was a phenomenal experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my insight, I hope to learn from my host as much as possible about them as well as their beliefs on certain issues and I can teach how to crochet, or anything that is pretty hands-on.
