I'm 18 years old, and I currently live in Madrid. I'm absolutely new at Couchsurfing , but meeting people from around the world and traveling have always been important for me. So I'm pretty open to this experience. I'm usually not a stay home person. I like to see places and meet people anywhere I go —even the place I live in.

Movies and plays are my greatest interests. I go to the movies almost each week, and spend a great part of my time watching them in my house. Also, I like writing, or at least try.

Its a difficult question. But I would say that The Hours (both book and movie) is one of my favorites. As to authors, I like Toni Morrison, Gabriel García Marquez, Herta Müller, Alice Walker and Maya Angelou, among others.

When i was 16, after watching The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, I decided that I wanted to do something like that —not as extreme, just wanted to see places. I usually don't like that king of movies (Ben Stiller), but anyhow, me and my brother liked this one. I told my brother to do something like it and, just like that, we spent twenty days traveling through Central Europe. I met amazing people from different parts of the world in hostels; people that, thankfully, I still keep contact with.
