About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To share the power of creativity as I explore the world and all its wonders through the many amazing people I meet along the way, and find out more about my own place in this universe as I go.

ABOUT ME

(god theres a lot of info to put in here! so apologies if my profile is unfinnished for a while.. feel free to contact me to ask me anything i havent filled in yet though!)

Just so you guys know, I'm currently a student with no paid job and a very tiny income from selling bits of artwork when I can so can't afford to get verified atm, though I will as soon as its possible :) Hope this isnt too much of an issue.

I love Cornwall... that's a big part of me. It played a big role in my childhood and has always provided a peaceful place for rest and contemplation when I've needed to escape the madness of modern society.
I cry everytime I have to leave, and cry with joy everytime I return.

It's torture not living there. I miss the air, the light, the sea, the sand (even though it makes my feet sore), the rocks, galleries, amazing community... only thing i dont miss is the evil killer seaguls stealing my pasties out my hands haha oh and being away from big cinemas... I adore film!

On the opposite side of my personality is my love affair with London. Lived there for a while and it was the happiest and most fulfilling time of my life! I plan to return there eventually.

After my degree I hope to earn enough money to be able to move back to London, or at least somewhere nearby, and set up privately as an art therapist and carry on running creative workshops for local people, young and old. If I end up being successful in my endevours my ultimate dream would be to have a holiday home in Amsterdam that I can rent out when I'm not there. Though before that I'm determined to learn dutch... though modern languages really aren't my strong point sadly. I will get there eventually! I love the dutch and begin to feel very rude spending long periods of time there and still not managing to learn a word of their language..

im going to leave it here as theres a lot to find out about me, im a very multi-faceted person.. so just ask away. im very friendly :)

july 2010 NOTE:

Just a lil note to any possible surfers/friends. I'm considering moving to New Zealand in late 2011/early 2012.... if anyone lives there, has lived there, or visited for an extented period and worked etc... stories and info would be much appreciated! would love to meet for a chatter if possible :)

PHILOSOPHY

i have a lot to say here.. so ill come back at a later date when ive got more time and energy to fill it in.
though i suppose sieze the day and be true to yourself and others sums the general jist of it up quite well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

im a newbie to CS but not to couch surfing. this community seems wonderful though and im really excited to become a part of it and make some amazing contacts and explorations

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had everything from peculiar couples camping in my garden who didnt speak english and who i communicated with through drawings.. haha, fun memories.. to a mother and child, deep thinking solo travellers who i stayed up nights discussing the meaning of life with, to happy go lucky students wanting a cheap break and the chance to explore a new city with a new friend...
ive enjoyed all of them in different ways but have generally got on best with solo travellers who ive had a lot in common with, or who have amazing stories to tell that inspire me and open my eyes to new experiences I may not have been aware of before.
