About Me

I'm a discreet person, loving music, and always curious ! For the past two years, I worked on a associative radio station, specialized in broadcasting new non-commercial music !
I will travel with my girlfriend Giulia, who is italian, for the next months/years.
She studied literature and play the violin, and is a person full of resources !
Both we can show you our love for listening music, eating good things, jokes not as funny as expected and funny at last, and for cultural and linguistic differences between France and Italy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling in meeting new people is always better ! When we'll have a place, we'll definitely offer a couch !

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot !
I'm listening almost rock music, but also experimental, electro, hip-hop, classical, and all kind of things
I play drums and guitar for fun, Giulia play the violin, not for fun :)
We like talking about music !
We both studied literature, so we like also talking about books ! Recently we discovered Gabriel Garcia Marquez for example, and it was a great discover !

Giulia's music : Bach, Beethoven, Brahms for classical, but also Devotchka, Elio e le storie tese, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Buena Vista Social Club
Sylvain's music : Radiohead, Bach, toe, Sebadoh, powerdove, Deerhoof, and many more.
Giulia's books : Cien años de soledad (Garcia Marquez), Le città invisibili (Calvino), Racconti (Pavese), I Piccoli Maestri (Meneghello), and many more
Sylvain's books : La Chute (Camus), Grapes of warth (Steinbeck), La Cantatrice Chauve (Ionesco), and many more

Teach, Learn, Share

We definitely can teach you how to do a good risotto :)
We can teach you about cultures of our respectives countries (France & Italy), our languages, our food specialties, and so on.
We would learn how many things it is possible to learn about cultures of your country, ways of life, food, music, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Our (short for the moment!) experience of life, our curiosity and our questions about the world around us, our joy !
