Overview
About Me
British degree-educated and has been working with Ministry of Finance Malaysia from Nov 2019 before being promoted as assistant director at Ministry of Economy in February 2024. Has been keeping the same job until today.
My background is in economics, with a strong focus on econometrics, public policy, and geopolitical analysis. I’m intellectually curious, methodical by training, and ambitious—long term, I aim to work with international institutions such as the World Bank or International Monetary Fund.
I genuinely enjoy learning from different cultures and perspectives. Travel, for me, is less about ticking boxes and more about understanding history, political context, and how societies actually function. I’m particularly interested in history, geopolitics, economics, and how global events shape local realities.
Outside of work, I enjoy thoughtful conversations, exploring cities on foot, museums, historical sites, and finding good food wherever I go. If you’re interested in culture, history, long walks through unfamiliar streets, or exchanging ideas over coffee or a meal, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to meet locals and immerse myself in the place I’m visiting.
I am in the process of trying to loose 30kg form my current 98kg so if you can help me to loose weight it will be much appreciated 😹😹😹
