I'm 29 - creeping up on 30....holy crap. I am a typical friendly Canadian looking to meet some amazing new people and discover new places in this beautiful country.
I am respectful, clean and courteous, though I know how to cut loose and have fun when the opportunity presents itself. I'm a big kid at heart and love any excuse to dress up in costume.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My boyfriend and I travelled throughout Australia in a camper van but decided we wanted to try couch surfing instead, as a way to meet more people on our travels. We are the 'pay it forward' type and thought this was a neat concept and can't wait to host others one day.
We tried hostels too, but we are looking to have more meaningful interactions and get to actually know the people and the culture where we are visiting.

Roller derby!!! It been my life for the last 5 years. I was El Presidantè for my league back home and skated competitively on the All-Star team for 4 years. We also have the first banked track in Canada, skating under the name of SS (Shit Show) Rodeo. Since I've been away from home Ive played for 'The Death Stars' in Melbourne, then I joined the Bay Rollers in Byron Bay, NSW.

I am also quite involved in Rally Racing, and was heavily involved in The Big White Winter Rally as the registrar for the event. I also sat on the board of directors as secretary for Rally Pacific Motorsports, which is the governing body for rally in BC, Canada.

Aside from that, I like hiking, music, festivals, snorkelling, surfing, camping, and community/cultural events.

Joined Roller Derby.
It changed my life more than I could have imagined. I have lost 30kg since I started and to me, that's a huge accomplishment.

Well, I don't have much to teach, unless of course, you have roller skates - then I can show you a thing or two ;)

I love learning and I'm always up for new things if you have something to teach. I can share good stories as I always find myself in the most bizarre situations but they make for a good laugh after.
I crave good conversation, and deeper meaning. I love discussing life, love and anything/everything over a beer or glass of wine. I also have a few good ghost stories to share too.

I can offer good company, and helping hands. I'm not afraid to help in the kitchen or house and I will most definitely clean up after myself. If you have animals, I will maul them with affection and would be happy to pet sit or walk them.
I also love chidlets too, and would be happy to babysit.
