Hello! We are Celyn (from the UK) and Faye (from China). We currently live in Beijing, China, and are planning a trip around the world later this year. Until we leave we are happy to welcome people to stay in our apartment in Beijing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are both very interested in learning about new cultures, which is one of the main reasons we're planning to travel so extensively. While we're still able to act as hosts, we're interested to met people from all over the world, hopefully some of whom we can meet again while we travel.

We both interested in learning languages, learning about customs and traditions from different countries, as well as the foods and ways of cooking!

We love art and music, and we play the guitar, piano and ukulele.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

t is hard to choose one!

Last year we travelled in a remote area of Western Mongolia, and stayed with one of the few remaining nomadic families who practice Eagle Hunting.

We also travelled in Kalimantan, the Indonesian area of Borneo. We were lucky enough to see the Orang-utans living in the protected area of rainforest there.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are happy to share or teach any of the languages we know! In Beijing we can share what we know about the city and where to go; Celyn will be able to help you find your way around the Beijing art scene if you are interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We would love to share our stories along the way. We are also good at cooking, can do Italian, French and Chinese Style. Or free style :p
