I'm friendly, helpful and definitely an optimist. I would rather live life on the bright side and enjoy myself. What else is the purpose of life?

I'm currently living near Seoul and am planning a 3 month backpacking trip around South East Asia early next year. As well as South Korea, I have lived in Indonesia, France, Spain and the UK. I'm looking to add a few more countries to that list still. I think living somewhere is definitely the best way to get to know the country and its people. Couchsurfing has to be the second best!

I'm always up for something fun. Drinking, dancing, hiking, cycling, sightseeing, exploring, picnicking by the river. Whatever! Good company, good conversation and laughter make me happy.

I also love to bake but don't have an oven here in Korea :-(

I love meeting new people and as I said before, it has to be one of the best ways to get to know a new city/country and the people that live there.

I'm new to couchsurfing but it seems like a fantastic community of like-minded travellers who are ready and willing to share their knowledge and help each other out. Sounds perfect to me!

兴趣

I love being outdoors, especially when the weather's nice! I like running, cycling and hiking and am usually up for anything active.

I'm definitely a fan of having a few drinks in the evening with some good friends and always love a good meal in or out. On quieter nights, a movie or a book, some popcorn and a glass of wine are my go tos.

I'm a firm believer that music improves just about any situation so there will normally be some playing somewhere.

Music - just about anything depending on the time/place/mood. The majority of what I listen to would probably be classified as indie/alternative.

My favourite movie has to be Billy Elliot (mainly for the soundtrack). Otherwise, I enjoy any movie with a good storyline except scary movies. These I watch from behind my hands whilst asking the person next to me what is happening.

Again, any book goes as long as I can get into the story. Mainly fiction though. I just finished reading some of Khaled Hosseini's wonderful books and am now onto Game of Thrones (slightly behind the tide there).

I think moving to a new country alone, setting up a life, making some amazing friends and having a fantastic time should count as an amazing thing. I'm counting it as one anyway!
