I'm a writer and aviation employee living in South Florida. My family is Jamaican and Cuban and I consider myself an "antillana" (West Indian) in the truest sense of the word. I've been a seasoned traveler since my teens, when I first visited Mexico on a student exchange trip. I subsequently lived in Mexico (D.F., Veracruz, Puebla) for three years, which taught me that I can survive and adapt anywhere. I travel as often as possible and I'm thankful for a job that facilitates my travel goals.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'll be traveling through Europe in September 2015 and, at the suggestion of a friend (see my reference), I'm trying couchsurfing as a alternate to traditional accommodations. I'm hoping to meet great people and get an insider's perspective on the countries I'll be visiting.
