ABOUT ME

I'm middle-aged, how exciting is that?
I work as a counselor in a domestic violence shelter, I'm back in college after 2o years, I love dogs, I adopted 2 from the pound, I love to travel, I lived in Switzerland as a child,lived in Spain, all over the U.S. and now I'm in Minnesota. I saw a story on Nightline(I think it was Nightline) on Couch Surfing, and could'nt wait to check it out.
I really want to do more traveling in the U.S. and go back to Spain and Italy. I haven't been to any South American countries, so that is a goal of mine, I do speak Spanish, a little Italian and French.
I'm really interested in music, architecture, design great food and people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed many times in Minneapolis, New Orleans, and Paris. I've had many visitors stay on my couch over the years.

Movies: So many to list. I recently saw The Departed;
Great movie!
Music: Just about anything.
Books: I'm reading text books right now, no time for personal reading. I can't wait to start reading for pleasure again this summer.

I've lived a lot of places. I'm great at getting people together for fund-raising events, organizing parties, social events. I've done a lot of volunteer work in the past. Counseling experience.
