About Me
My name is David, and I like to smile :)
I'm currently a Peace a Corps Volunteer living in Dschang, where I work predominately with youth in a variety of ways. I've been in Cameroon for a little over a year now, and would love to host anyone who will be in Dschang, or even just meet up for a meal or drink! I tend to also travel around the country a bit (especially in the Grand West), so I'm always down for making new friends and exploring new towns and villages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been on a CouchSurfing for several years now - I've both hosted and surfed a lot on here, in the US and abroad! I love meeting travelers, whether you're hosting or I am.
Interests
I recently graduated university with a degree in Romance Languages and Political Science. Outside of that, I love theatre, traveling (that must be a given), music, museums, getting lost, and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
As far as movies go, I'm pretty easy-to-please aside from the whole action genre. I have very eclectic music tastes, and the same goes for books. My favorite author is David Sedaris, and I read way more political philosophy in my spare time than I'd like to admit.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, one day I packed my life up into two suitcases and a backpack and flew into Cameroon to volunteer with the Peace Corps for two years. My life since then has been amazing opportunity after amazing opportunity!
