It's not so easy for me to write someting about myself, I prefer to let others know me sharing experiences and spending time together... but now I'll try, starting from my passions:

MUSIC: I have fallen in love with music since I was a child.. I even tried to play guitar but my main ability is to listen and catch all the emotions that music can give you. I grew up with cult artists my father loves like Led Zeppelin, The Cure, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Genesis .. I spent my adolescence with Janis Joplin, Nirvana, Radiohead, Cranberries, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Joy Division .. I expanded my music dimension during years with Air, Blonde Redhead, Liars, Moderat, Bonobo, Agnes Obel, Sharon Van Etten and I will never stop exploring.
Live music is one of my energy sources ...and the better way to use my pay!!

NATURE: We are part of the Nature, part of this Earth, we live in a symbiotic system and I feel like connecting with nature is a primary need for me. It's not always possible doing it during the everyday life and living in a metropolitan city, so when I travel I always look for destinations that can match my need of it and my wish of knowing different cultures, new people, lovely places.
I always try to respect the environment in my life the more I can.

ART: It is strongly recommended not to go with me to a museum/exhibit if you are used to watch and pass in font of a painting or a photo, or if you don't have an entire day free :)
I love visual art in all its expressions - I love modern and contemporary painting - I have a curious approach for what I don't know - I get lost in museums and galleries.
I think that Art, like travel, is a deep way to understand Ages, countries, cultures, people and History.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a perfect way to connect with the place you are visiting and basically to know people with different cultures, to share travel experiences and get ideas for my next destination!
We live in the digital sharing Era.... but I still prefer to see a live smile, to ear an accent ..and to hug people!

I really appreciated Nick Hornby works like High Fidelity, Juliet Naked, Funny Girl.
In this period I'm approaching contemporary italian writers.
During my studies I discovered a cuban writer Reinaldo Arenas and I decided to write my graduated thesis on him. His autobiographic work Antes que anochezca touched me.

The incredible can be into simple things .. like take self-confidence and start travelling all alone
