About Me

To do anything that is worth experiencing

I was born in Catania, Sicily. I think it is one of the most beautiful places in my country. At the age of 9, I moved to Parma, in the North of Italy. I lived there with my family and went on attending school there. Unfortunately I couldn't enjoy that city enough, because I live there just 3 years, then I moved to Rome. I've been living in Rome for 10 years now and I can consider this city not only one of the most interesting cities of Italy but also MY city. I love Rome, there is always something to do, to see, to enjoy. In Rome you can be anyone. Actually, my family lives in Guidonia 45 minutes far from Rome. My appartment is in a building surrounded by countryside, I have also a farm very close to my house. The only problem I have, in living in a small city, is to accept close minded people. I prefer living in a metropotilan city or at least in the countryside (when I say countryside I mean just a couple of houses surrounded by nature).I'm lucky because my small city (Villanova di Guidonia) is just a town of commuters, so we are used to the big city life but we like living far from the chaos. I must admit that I love the Chaos of the city, that's why I love Rome so much.

Moving from a city to another, made me suffer when I was youger but now I think it was better for me. I had the opportunity to know different places and experience different ways to see life. I decided to study Languages because I'm very curious to know other cultures and realities around me. I wish I could travel a lot in my life and learn many more languages in my life. Everyone can teach us something new.

I think respect is the keyword of relationships. If we do things that respect ourselves and the others, I think we can create a better world. I try doing my best to work on my personality, and sometimes I succeed!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Please contact me if you want somebody to show you around in Rome! We can go out for lunch or dinner, avoiding the expensive touristic restaurants! Food is to be experienced, above all in Italy. As an experience must be worth living.

I met many people around Europe and I thank them for every single minute spent together

I love talking. I'm very interested in different subjects above all languages, trips, POLITICS, history and I try learning every day something new. I hope to meet you and have the opportunity to exchange my personal knowledge of this world with you!

Music, Movies & Books

I sing in a gospel choir, I love singing but I don't think this will be my future carrer (anyway who knows). I love reading, above all novels. I usually buy books, tons of books but in the end I have no time to start reading them.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I took 5 trains and travelled a night long just to spend 3 days in Sud-Tirol because in Rome the weather was too hot!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been studying foreign languages to get in touch with different people

Countries I've Visited

France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom
