I'm a 20 years old "writer" (or i'd like to, now too far) grew up in Rome, i rightly finished high school, and now i'm on a gap year, to understand what is best for my future, anyway, next year i'll start university, maybe the short-degree of "antropologia, storia e religioni" in Rome, with a costant writing of screenplays and short stories. My dream is to study cinematic tecnique in London. I still live with my parents, but i'm working as a guardian in a private foundation called "the lighthouse", which provides help and supplies for political refugees and homeless, practical courses for youngers and language courses for foreigners.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on this site cause it mixes two important aspects of travelling: meet people and spend little. Every young human being without a large bank account could understand this. Travelling is one of the peasure of life, maybe for the characters on the road, or the friendship that had born one cold night, in a warm irish pub, between laughing and drinking. The couch is the symbol of this lifestyle: soft, comfortable, quiet and polite, it's the definition of cheap rest.

Interests

As I said, i'm kind of a writer, so everything concerns a story concerns me. I'm starting to think that The Story, with capital S, is the heart of all the possible stories: every moment is connected to the past one, is a long-term metaphor for mankind, the eye of God (o whateva, man) sees all wires of fate, while our just an infinitesimal part of the great web of creation. I'm not a catholic fundamentalist, but i quite like their images.
I love films, cartoons, comics and tv series beacuse are the easiest way to express a story.
I fucking love music, the best way to a man's hearth, the most direct heart.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music in combo whit the feelings of the moment, angry hip hop for rage, progressive rock for writing, old swing songs for the melanchonic moments, or everything is appropriated.
I love movies, old, new, comedies, tragedies, animation... Every movie could be a good one, but my beloved film-makers are the coen bros, creators of masterpiece like "the Great Lebowsky".
My favoutite book is "Manalive" fo G.K. Chesterton, everybody should read it.
