Hi, my name is Federico. I'm a 27 year old Marine biologist currently living in Montevideo, Uruguay. Within marine biology I specifically study sharks and rays, my biggest passion since I have memory.
I also love to travel, especially as a backpacker. I like to think that traveling kind of helps you breaking the "buble" and exposes you to different realities and contexts. Traveling for me is a great way to experience new things, learn, and get to know different cultures and people around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm just a beginner right now. But I love to travel with my backpack and meet new places and people. Saving money is always good for the backpacker, but I mostly see couchsurfing as a different but exciting opportunity to meet new people, share life experiences, and why not make new friends around the world?

One amazing thing I've seen would be the city of Machu Pichu in Perú. One amazing thing I've done would actually be what I'm doing right now... traveling through all south east Asia with my backpack and my dear friend Nacho.
