About Me

I have recently learned what to wander around means, as a consequence of events and choices occurred in my life. Up to eight years ago I enjoyed visiting Italia, my birth country's middle cities and towns, as well as the countryside and some mountain area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As much as I have been enjoying spending my time as a volunteer for some weeks in some farms, namely in Estonia, I would like to be hosted or help farmers, living on border areas, which have been so fascinating since my student period in Gorizia/Nova Gorica which was definitely a border venue between the two blocs, back to Cold War.

Interests

American Independent Movies, '80-'90 videogames, Balkan and South Caucasus (mainly Saqartvelo), languages as a vehicle of peace (e.g. Esperanto), tap dancing and musical related dances

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting Kazbegi area in the Northern Saqartvelo and taking at look at the breath-taking landscape at the border with Russia (nearby North Ossetia), surrounded by huge mountains. Astonishing

Teach, Learn, Share

What I carry on with me from my deep experience inside Kartuli culture is worth to be taught and shared with others; I can also talk about geopolitics nowadays. Then I love to talk about my culture's richness, in term of food, literature and flaws. Self-irony is needed in this world and in this country especially.

Given my first attempts in learning tap dancing, from absolute beginner level, I would be delighted to show you what I have been learning

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experience abroad in Saqartvelo and in the Central-Baltic Europe (I have been quite a traveler over my seven-year stay in Łódź). Plus my ongoing experience with foreigners and in volunteering sector, through farm "workcamping". Then, debates on my favourite directors

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Slovenia, Spain, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In
