About Me

Quiet guy who enjoys visiting places, meeting people of all sorts, and just travelling independently or with friends.I'm very open-minded and easy-going. It shouldn't matter, but I'm gay (just in case you're not comfortable with it), but I have some much more interesting secrets than that one.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything happens for a reason.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling, apart from visiting new places, I find it essential to meet new people, in order to make the experience even more enriching.

I have stayed with hosts in Europe, I have hosted people at home, and I have also showed the city around to some travellers even without having them stay in my house. So, even though I can't say I have lived the couchsurfing experience intensly, I have tried many of the different possiblities the community has to offer!

Interests

I play the guitar and the piano (not professionally, just as a hobby). Tough I'm generally introvert, I like having a good chat about anything.

I enjoy learning about the history, architecture, and gastronomy of each country I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES - I like a good drama, but nowadays I'm more into series than movies.
MUSIC - Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Twenty one pilots, etc etc. I also like Uruguayan and regional music.
BOOKS - I also like reading books, even though I don't read as often as I would like to (funny, since at work I try to encourage students to read more). I've read many types of books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Picking kiwifruit in New Zealand (miss those old good days)

-I occasionally worked in the summer as a bike tour guide. Last tour was on Christmas Day and I had 23 travellers to tour by bike!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching, so I can teach you Spanish (or English), some songs on the piano or the guitar, cooking some home-made pasta. Or you can teach me some of your local recipes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Cook Islands, France, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

New Zealand, Uruguay
