Live what's now happening, don't plan too much, but know where you're headed to.
smile and live passionately
- life is short. break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that made you smile -
Sometimes poems are just the best way to express how you feel or what you mean, few words, metaphorical meanings.. The following is one I like especially, written in my mother tongue Catalan, and therefore I don't only like it very much but I also feel very proud of it :)
"Hi ha dies en la vida d´inmensa solitud,
ventades malastrugues que escombren tot
record d´antigues benaurances esvaïdes com fum.
Un mur compacte i fred m´aïlla de l´escalf exterior
i romanc deprimida en abandó funest.
Un desert polsegós i recremat.
Sense oasis que trenquen l´horitzó.
Una set de tendreses que no s´acaba mai
i el dupte persistent d´esdevenir solitàri inguarible i fatal.
Una porta que tanca d´un cop fort
l´accès a l´alegria i al plaer.
L´íntim i doloròs convenciment
d´una inmòbil tristesa desolada..
o un altre dia
hi haurá en la fosca la claror d´un far.
Potser després, el sol ixent,
esborrará la nit per sempre."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
meeting people and sharing our life experiences, thoughts and ideas
I had really great times when i traveled and used Cs in order to be for some days closer to local people and in that way get more the feeling of visiting a friend that being a tourist :)
With cs i've visited Bilbao, Berlin, Praha, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Luxemburg, Belgium (gent, antwerp and brugge) where i also attended the Werchter rock festival. During sept' 11 I visited Istanbul, Sofia, Skopje, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Zagreb and Budapest.
I've also attended the FUSION Festival nearby Berlin and I've experienced my first WOOFING time close to Bordeaux. After of which I made my way up to Brussels where I lived half a year as an Erasmus student. On the way up to Belgium I traveled through France a bit, visiting Bordeaux, Nantes and Paris.
Over the Last two summers I hitchhiked from south Germany through Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, letonia, Estonia, Findland, Sweden, norwey and Denmark.
The last year I lived in Hamburg working as an au-pair while studying further german.
This last summer I´ve traveled to Russia visiting Saint Petersburg, hitchiking to Moscow, getting on the transiberian (with stopover in Perm, Omsk and Ulan-Ude) and crossing the border to Mongolia by bus. There I worked in a farm on the country side, slept in a gerd and enjoyed riding horse, milking the hairy sweet yaks, experiencieng live as a true mongolian nomad! :P
This year 2015-2016 I've lived in Leeds (UK) while doing a master in International Relations. The following year I'll move to Germany :)

What i love about this life is that is full of possibilities, the only limit is the one you set yourself...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every little thing life gives you that makes you happy, smile, feel loved.. becomes an amazing moment for which I'm thankful.
Of course, is when I've been outside of my comfort zone is when I have remembered that moment as an amazing one and are the ones I should look forward to live again! In that sense, going on the Transmongolian railway & visiting Mongolia were great things I've done :-)
