COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch has been host to many friends and aquaintances in my life, and i've done a fair few nights on couches too. In fact i don't even get a stiff neck in the morning anymore from dodgy couches.

Interests

Art, design, fashion, lifestyle, cooking, great dinners out with friends talking intellectual stuff and crap also depending on how the wine is flowing. A passion for great music of many different kinds. I love going on a night out here in Qinhuangdao and then ending up at the beach in the early hours waiting for the sunrise, you just can't beat it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could list many but will you take much notice? So 2 of each;music: Black eyed peas, Arctic Monkeys, Movies: Amelie de Montmartre, All Tarantino, Books: My Chinese dictionary, and anything arty on design etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many, but things that stick out in my mind are top of the eiffel tower, dunns river falls in jamaica, red square in moscow, Coventry city winning the FA cup at wembley in 1987, Bruce Springsteen live at wembley and other places. New Year in Monte Carlo. Going to the world famous Bolshai Ballet in Moscow for my first ever experience of ballet, and actually getting tears in my eyes, very touched by that experience. China amazes me everyday!!

I feel so happy to help anyone who wants to learn English, i always feel flattered that people want to learn my native language, that i am very happy to help. I'm a trained chef so you may get to learn something there. Very knowledgable on modern design.
