To conquer the world, obviously ;-)
I'm curious, shy, sensitive, non-conforming, lazy, sharp, independent, passionate, indiscriminate, open minded, chaotic, intelligent, questioning, rebellious, honest, and well... a lot of other things :)
My journey started in the italian mountains. There, I grew up in a cottage in the woods from which you need a good 30 minutes walk to even get to a road reachable by car.
I've always been a bit of a dreamer. Walking up the mountain after school my mind would be far away, wondering about the rest of the world, or about how I thought it was. We had goats. And a big garden where we grew our vegetables. Our mule is still happily wandering about.
From there, driven by curiosity, and following tortuous paths I ended up in lively Berlin where I'm now working as a software developer for a small and cosy startup. At the same time never stopping learning new things and always looking for new adventures.
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those tho matter don't mind!"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sometimes surfing, sometimes hosting, sometimes going to events and meeting people. It's a great community, full of interesting, friendly and open minded people.
I really like trying to understand how the world works (also called science).
I like to cast spells on computers to make them do what I want (also called programming).
Some things I love: photography, anthropology, maths, snowboarding/skiing, computer science, technology, psychology, nature, board games, cryptocurrencies, chaos theory, politics, outdoor sports, sortition, swing dancing, LessWrong, acrobatics, cognitive biases, books, the tv series Firefly, Ultimate Frisbee, optical illusions.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some random movies I very much enjoyed: 500 Days of Summer, The Bourne trilogy, Black Cat White Cat, American Beauty, Iron Man, Dan in Real Life, Match Point, many Pixar animation films, Ratatouille, The Princess and the Frog (Disney), Good Will Hunting
I like thrillers like those by Ken Follet, loved the Harry Potter series (just the books, not the films..), really like Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality. I discovered science fiction too late, I think I would have enjoyed it a lot had I had more time. Recently I'm been reading mostly non-fiction, with topics ranging from politics to maths to anthropology. Some non-fiction books I think are really cool: The World Without Us, A Short History of Nearly Everything, those by Jared Diamond
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to teach programming, maths, logic and how to think critically
I like to learn to see the world from different perspectives, and to learn facts about the world that change my predictions on how it behaves
