About Me

Hey,
My name is Felicia. I am a birth and post partum doula, a shamanic reiki practitioner, mystic, astrologer, storyteller, creator, adventurer, explorer, forever student with a deep love for mother earth.
For two years, I've been nomadic. I was in the Valencia region of Spain since March 2020 and then in June-July I walked 850km across the north coast of Spain on the Camino Del Norte. The last year, I was living 100% off grid in a little community in the Alpujarra mountains. Then I spent some time in the Barcelona area. Now I am here in Denmark!
I’m from new york city, but i thrive in nature.
I love music, as it’s guided me through many moments in my life. Music from all different languages, genres and cultures. I also play music - guitar, piano, ukulele, animal skin drums, and I enjoy singing.
My interests are community, birth work, music, exploring, the stars, permaculture, bio-dynamic farming, history, shamanism, plant medicines, and all things sustainable. I love exploring this world and learning about other cultures and other people. Forming new connections is part of what makes life so enriching.
To be completely honest, my perceptions of the state of the world are not really in line with status-quo thinking, and I'm really lucky to naturally attract people of a like-vibration. Who knows what's going to happen with all these crazy laws. In the meantime, I will keep exploring my inner and outer worlds. I realize even after these so-called 'freedoms' have returned or been taken away, many people are still be in a state of fear and I respect that. But if you're not one of those people, like myself, and want to meet an adventurous human, we may be a great couchsurfing match.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Part of travel and exploration is really immersing yourself in the place where you're in. I'd love to get to know people who live in the cities and towns where I travel. It's a great way to get to know the place, form a new connection... and I hope and would be honored if my company, gifts, openness, and good humor are a great trade.

I also am open to hosting people now that I'm more grounded in Denmark!

I had the opportunity when I was living in NYC to host many people (usually friends of friends or family of friends whom I had never met). I loved giving them a place to stay and showing them around.

I love people. I love being around people and meeting new people and forming new connections. My ability to connect with others is what makes my life so rich and meaningful. I get along with pretty much anyone. I'm easy going, and I'm clean and organized... though I don't expect that from other people. I'd say I'm a friendly and respectful couchsurfing guest.

You never know who you're going to meet.
