I was born in Stockholm, Sweden to then move to Shanghai, China at the age of 5. At 12 years of age, I moved back to Stockholm where I am currently living and going to a dance program for my gap year. The reason I decided to take a gap year after high school was because I knew that this was the only time that I would be completely free - to not have something planned for me. For 12 years I have been going to school and once I start university, the cycle of being bound to something comes back whether it's another degree, internship or job. Don't get me wrong, I think education is power and I will definitely go to university. Eventually. But before that cycle restarts I want to experience life. A big part of experiencing life, I believe, is meeting new people, seeing beautiful places, experiencing new cultures and making a difference. I want to set foot into other peoples' lives and I want to welcome new lives into mine. This is why I want to try out couch surfing :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and I believe that the best way to get to know a city is to meet those that live there! I want to truly get to know the culture and the human connection and interaction is the key. Personally I think that the best things in life are the people you are surrounded by and therefore I want to surround myself with more, new, exciting people. There's always room in my heart for another friend :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled around Europe with my best friend for a month through trains and buses, seeing amazing views and meeting amazing people!

Teach, Learn, Share

I dance, paint, take photos and love to edit videos :) And of course I can teach you Mandarin and Swedish! (and some dance moves if you want to)
