Always happy and overall a social person. Currently living in the U.S. as an exchange student trying to experience as much of the country as possible (but I am originally from Sweden!). I have travelled a lot by my own and due to the fact that we have relatives all around the world (United States, England, Thailand, Lebanon, Norway, Germany etc) I'm used to facing other cultures and locals - and I love it! People use to say that they find me very outgoing, mature and I love to meet and get to know new people as well as new places. I'm interested in human rights and politics and I really love a great discussion and I find myself open to new perspectives if that's the case.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to travel to meet locals and not just doing these regular tourist-trips. I find it a lot more valuable to get to know the people who lives there, rather than just visiting the country for it's nature, shopping etc. I have also noticed that people on CS sometimes are pretty good cooks and I love homecooked meals/to cook together!

Interests

I like to go on adventures and to have my body activated as well as partying and having a good time. Skiing, hiking and enjoying the beauty of the Swedish woods is something I love to do while at home. I like to write, dance and occasionally sing Disney songs very loud (when I'm sure no one is listening). I never turn down a chance of a good party either or a night in playing board games.

I would also love to use and learn more Spanish, as I don't get the opportunity to speak Spanish so much that I'd like to while living in Sweden.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been diving with sharks in the Philippines and I've managed to - on my own -"shift back" my knee when it once had slipped out of socket.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to say crazy things in swedish and how to make the best "glögg" in the world. Also, I have a very good memory so if you are going to travel to any of the places that I've been to, I'm glad to help you out with suggestions of where to go and people to meet.

I wouldn't be disappointed if you taught the local secrets of your hometowns best bars and restaurants (or if you showed me a hidden gem that I would miss just being a tourist). Also, help me improve my cooking skills if you are good at cooking! Love homecooked food, and to cook, but I'm terrible at it (mostly). Or, share a story or two from your life and I'm pleased as well!
