About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission objective is nothing less but discovering what my true passion in life is

ABOUT ME

Ufff...all about me...that´s hard. Let´s see what I can do.
I was born in a catholic middle class family. Spent most of my life probably just doing what people expected from me and believing in what I have been taught.
Somewhere during my 20´s I started questioning things, questioning myself. I was surprise to admit that I had more structures than I had every imagined and at my early 30´s I must say I´m still breaking some of them. I had the chance to travel since I was young and that gave me the opportunity to be in touch we different people, with different ways of living, we different education, cultures. That´s been a world that ever since has amazed me. Cause in the end, we are all equal. And it was because of a trip that things started to change for me. I went to Colombia in 2009 and something I cannot explain just happened inside of me. Beside the beautiful places I visited and the fantastic friends I got from there, it was the way the lived their lives that overwhelmed me. That´s when I started looking at life from another point of view.
I live in a society in which as soon as you get out of school secondary at age 18 you´re supposed to decide what you´re going to study next, then of course, you must get some work while you finish your career. In the meantime you should already have a boyfriend so that you can start planning on getting married after graduating while you get enrolled in a master so that you keep on studying. Don´t forget, you keep on working because that´s what life is all about. People have fear, of loosing their jobs, of not having enough money, of not being good enough, of the lack of security, of being alone and because of that when you look different at life you are seen different, and judged, buy the others.
A year away from home just travelling around is something that only until now is a little bit more accepted and though many people do it, older generations have difficulties accepting such kind of decisions as they see it as a waste of time.
Many people accept this way of living because they believe that´s the way life goes, others are to afraid to deal with consequences of cuestioning things. And then of course, there is a group of people who want to experience a different way of life. People who do not want just to go through it but to live it.
The ones who are fearless leave their homes for adventures, visit places of which no one has heard, countries where back home no one was to go "because it´s too dangerous", "it´s poor", "there is a war", "you´ll be alone". Although none of those things are actually true once you are there.
My -not all- casual visit to Colombia gave the chance to get a new perspective and I´ve been trying since then to live daily listening to myself. I window was of open to lots of things that came later: Yoga, reiki, cooking, singing, painting, travelling, loving, all of which helps me to keep on growing as a person.

PHILOSOPHY

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
The essential is invisible to the eyes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm actually living at Barcelona with my boyfriend. We came here on december 2013 to study a Master in Criminal Law. During our stay we tried to visit as many places as we could taking into account the few money and time. After finishing our study we decided to stay a little bit more so...we are now renting a room in a shared apartment and plan on staying here fpr a month after which we´ll get on a plane to star our two month trip to Nepal, India and Southeast Asia. Because of that we are not able to receive people now, which may change once we are back in Argentina.

Interests

Nature. Adventure. Having fun. Listening to music. Reading. Spending time with friends, sharing mate, preparing a barbecue o just having a good time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think everyone´s life, with all it´s aspects, even the ones you think are meaningless can be an example for someone else with a different experience. No ones gets through our lives by casual so, in the end, it depends on each one to obtain the most of each encounter.
