Hey! I'm new to couchsurfing so just getting started :)
I have lived in the UK all my life but done lots of travelling when I can. I did a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare at Bristol uni, and now work at a horse sanctuary in their behaviour centre. I work with the abused and neglected horses, rehabilitating and training them - it's my perfect job and I love it!!
I've previously done a bit of travelling and spent 6 months in Canada doing various things - a few workaway stays at different ranches, helping with the fieldwork for a PhD project on bats (which was amazing!) and some just general travelling round. I've also been to Spain and South Africa doing volunteer work and then holidays with the family in many more places.
Although I've settled a bit now, would still love to do more extended travelling in the future but at the moment it's just shorter holidays. Me and my best friend are going to Austria for a week at the end of September and hoping to meet some people in Innsbruck and Vienna who can show us round :)

The Killers are my all time favourite band! I love Doctor Who, James Bond and Midsomer Murders plus lots more that I can't think of at the moment :) And too many books to think of any specific favourites!
