I am currently an AuPair for a gorgeous family in Northern Germany, I decided to take a 'gap year' from my studies at university in Australia and spend some time travelling, learning a new language and exploring different cultures. I arrived in Germany at the beginning of March and will be here for the next 12 months.

I have been studying Osteopathic Medicine at University in Australia, and will continue with my Masters when I get home.
I love to be outdoors and kept busy. I love going for walks and exploring nature, especially National Parks, waterfalls and beaches.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to experience the different cultures of cities and towns that I visit and thought couchsurfing would be a great way to meet some locals or people that are living in the area. I am travelling mostly by myself and am very independent but thought couchsurfing would be a fantastic opportunity to meet like minded people who would like to share their stories about travel, their town, hobbies and life.
I would love to think of myself as a very easy going, friendly and positive person. I like meeting new people, and am very easy to talk to.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pop, hip hop and soul music - anything with a good beat normally attracts my attention. My old housemates in Australia studied Music at university so I also love some alternative, Australian local artists and bands :)

I love the Harry Potter books and movies - My goal is to read one of the books again in German by the end of the year. I don't normally sit down and spend a lot of time watching tele, so when I do any movie genre normally appeals to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skiing in Japan. Went to Japan in the beginning of 2019 with my younger brother, we travelled around for a few weeks then went up to the mountains to the snow. - Australia really doesn't get that much snow, so being on the snow fields and mountains was just amazing and soo much fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am trying to learn German, I would love to practice my German with any one who speaks it natively, or has also learnt/is learning it! They also say teaching is the best way to learn, so I'm happy to share the very basic knowledge I do have! :D
