Hola! Me and my boyfriend Martin departed English shores on 8th September for our South American Adventure. We left our home and jobs so we can explore this amazing continent, meet people and learn Spanish.

So far we have spent 3 incredible weeks in Brazil and have just spent 1 week in Buenos Aires where we studied spanish and had our first couchsurfing experience. We had a fantastic host and learnt so much more about the city. Next stop, Uruguay!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We really want to meet people outside of the "gringo trail" so we can get to know the real South America. Plus it will be a great way to practice our Spanish. We are more than happy to practice English with our hosts too!

Music - all sorts, folk, pop, techno and house
Movies - Robocop, Harrold and Maude and Appocalepse Now are enjoying of my all time.favouites. More recently I watched a really sweet Bollywood film called Queen which was ace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 3 weeks trekking in the Nepalese Himalayers, it was breathtaking!
