ABOUT ME

I am open minded, friendly, energetic, cooperative, honest, animal loving and outdoorsy. I love to travel, I love sports, cars and music. I love meeting new people and experience new things. I have realized that life is short and therefore should be lived so if we look back we can be proud of the things we have done.
I have lived in Madrid for my complete live except for one year in Frankfurt and several 3 or 4 months stays in London. I can speak Spanish, Italian and English and I can manage in German and French although they are a bit rusty right now. Most people say I have an english accent when speaking in english... Couldn't be proud enough.
I am 6 foot 4 or 1.94m and almost 100 kg but so much traveling is making me skinnier than ever.
I hate the cold and try to avoid it as much as possible, although I love winter sports.
My favorite cities have been San Francisco, Melbourne and Cape Town so far. Looking forward to include a new one to the list.
I love costumes parties!

PHILOSOPHY

"All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be" is something I live up to. I'd rather regret of the things I have done than of the things I wasn't brave enough to try. Completely determined in being happy and not harming anyone.

I am travelling the world for one year but as soon as I end up living somewhere, you will be more than welcome at my place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to it, but love the possibility of meeting new people and to blend with the locals. Looking forward to loads of new experiences.
Not official couchsurfing experience but I have always hosted many people in my house.

Interests

Laughing, traveling, eating, drinking (for the pleasure and the taste), partying, sports, music and cars are what keeps me always extremely busy. I don't have much time to seat and watch TV... I rather have a busy social life and train as hard as I can.
In sports I love and practice running, mountain biking, skying, snowboarding, rugby... it will actually be quicker to say the ones I don't practice...
Egalitarianism, animal rights, pacifism.

Movies: Pulp Fiction, Snatch, Amelie, The Godfather, Star Wars (IV, V and VI), Los Ojos de Ella, Les Intouchables, Seven, Grand Torino, and any 007.

TV: Top Gear, Dexter, Breaking Bad.

Music: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, The Black Crowes, David Bowie, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns n Roses, Incubus, Jamiroquai, The Cure, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Maximo Park, Extremoduro are some of my favourite bands, but there are just too many to mention them all.

Books: The Perfume, The Phisicist, The Shining, Misery, the Millenium Trilogy, anything that hooks me really. Bill Bryson makes me laugh and Paulo Coelho makes me relax.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done several marathons and long distance races both running and mountain biking.
I have troubled around the world once and I am currently completing my second time.
I have driven at 280 km/h in a race track and have been navigator in a rally car.
I have eaten bat, cricket, crocodile, ostrich, turtle, buffalo, kangaroo...
I have sky dived several times.
I have been to Burning Man three times and this year will be my forth. Not bad for living 14.000 km away!
I have quit my job and my comfortable life to travel around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can say I know quite a lot about rock history. also about how to eat healthy, losing weight and getting fit. I can teach you loads of stuff about cars and automotive history. I think I know quite a lot about dog breeds, specially the strong ones.

Learn: keen and open to learn anything you want to teach me!

Share: My stories, my experiences, my music, my recipes, my knowledge, myself. If I've been somewhere before, I can probably tell you good tips.
