About Me

I always said to myself that life is too short to be born and die in the same place. I’m grateful I found a crazy girl like me to participate it all and share these experiences on IG @lisospelomundo.

I’ve always dreamed of exploring new places, learning about other cultures, tasting different foods, hearing fascinating stories, and living adventures with new friends.

In Brazil I was another brick in the wall; life was only about working and paying bills, it didn’t make sense.
That dreamy boy inside me started to complain until I had a burnout in late 2023 and decided I wanted to change. I quit my job to backpack around the world and become a Digital Nomad (of course, my mother thought I was crazy). Since 2021, we had been creating content for the internet as a hobby, and now our project has become our profession; we have become content creators on IG @lisospelomundo.

Additionally, we delved into various aspects of marketing, and today we help companies with their digital transformation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the combination of the two main goals of a backpacker: saving money and having experiences with cool people. That’s why I’m here, to show the happy Brazilian way of life, learn anything people have to teach me, and, in return, sleep in the homes of strangers who will be friends for life after just two days.

Interests

We are on a journey to learn about digital marketing. We love trying street food and learning to cook local dishes. I love hiking, and Ingride isn’t a big fan, but I always drag her along because we both love nature. Geopolitics and science are part of my daily podcast playlist. Now you might be thinking I’m a big nerd, but don’t worry, that impression will be destroyed when you see us listening and dancing to the famous Brazilian Funk.

Music, Movies, and Books

Brazil is at the top of the list of countries with the greatest musical diversity, so we mostly listen to Brazilian music, but we also enjoy listening to 80s/90s rock followed by a boy band like the Backstreet Boys. I confess we haven’t watched many movies, but we binge-watch all kinds of series, from Breaking Bad to Sex Education.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve created a community of people passionate about traveling; @lisospelomundo not only serves as inspiration for people but also as a place where they can interact.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ingride knows how to make the best brownies and lasagna in the world, as well as great decorations for all kinds of parties. And if we have the right ingredients, she can make the famous caipirinha and Brazilian feijoada. We can share a lot of cool stuff about marketing, sales, AI, content creation, tips for traveling cheaply, and the complete list wouldn’t fit here.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything I’ve learned so far, including a great playlist of Brazilian music to make you dance, and if you don’t like to dance, no problem, you’ll love the rhythm of MPB. And of course, help in the homework.
