Hello there fellow couchsurfers, I'm Felipe and I hail from a huge city called Bogota, capital of Colombia, located in between the central and eastern ends of the great Andean mountain range and boasting a population of 13 million people.

Just last year I realized how much I was missing from this wide and beautiful world after venturing out of my motherland on my first ever international trip (to Russia no less), only after returning to my hometown did it become clear to me that I did not want to live without travelling and being in contact with foreign cultures.

I also understood that travelling is the best thing one can do to appreciate and understand this huge and sometimes scary world we live in.

I decided to just quit my job and go on a four day backpacking trip to the Amazon jungle, I'm not sure if it counts as amazing but I can tell you that my boss was quite amazed when I submitted my resignation letter.
