About Me

CURRENT MISSION

new paths!

ABOUT ME

I'm a biologist slash neuroscientist, from Rio de Janeiro. Sometimes I try to play 'pandeiro' and other percussion instruments. I'm interested in all related with biology - it's just amazing what we can learn and appreciate from the nature - special interest in neuroscience and bats! Yeah, I'm a neuro nerd, generally easy-going, a mixture of shy and extroverted, that believes the meaning of life is in those improbable and peculiar meetings. Couchsurfing is a way for that.

PHILOSOPHY

Listen, share and learn with the other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've started to use it really when I moved to Spain and so began to travel a little further. I've received delightful people where I lived in Spain and have travelled some times by CS and it was one of the best travelling experiences! It is just amazing knowing new and such interesting people and even more - if possible - discovering the city with a person from there/that lives there!
There's no better way to travel than couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted kind and amazing people and travelled several times by CS - enriching and unforgettable.

Interests

Travelling, reading, brazilian music (samba, bossa-nova, maxixe and forró), dancing, museums, queer culture, typical food, cinema, nature and meeting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

so hard to choose as there are so many good ones.

I can pick some awesome movies:
Red Like the Sky
Cinema Paradiso
Forrest Gump
Chinese Take-Away
Central Station ("Central do Brasil")
Kill Bill
Caramel
Machuca
I, Daniel Blake
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

More than one: teaching, going to Sahara Desert, travelling with friends around the eastern Europe and doing an exchange study in Spain!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you brazilian dances, like "forró", "samba" and "coco". I would like to learn how to cook typical food dishes. Also, I like to listen and (try to) understand the social and political reality of any country or city. I can tell you a bit about Brasil.

If you like neuroscience and evolution, I'd be happy to tell you about my research and hear your background as well!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
