Hi I am Felix :)
I am a german student of the life sciences and just finished my bachelors. Before starting my degree I spent 7 months traveling around Australia and New zealand solo and its time to explore another part of the world! I always wanted to travel around Asia but never really had the time during my studies, so now I want to use my free time before starting my masters.

About myself I can say that I really enjoy learning new things in any aspect. I love to meet new people, see new places and all in all just get new perspectives on life. During my time in Australia I had many great and also a few not so great experiences but I would still never want to miss them. I like being outside for hiking, riding a bike or rock-climbing. In the evening I enjoy my time with friends in a bar and usually visit one of the many great clubs here in Berlin. On the other hand I also like down time by reading a good book or playing some games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here mainly for my trip to Asia. I will be leaving Germany for Bangkok next week and then after one month in Thailand continue to China. Afterwards I might visit Myanmar but I will decide on that later. I would like to meet friendly locals or fellow travellers to spend some time together and explore. Additionally I am always grateful for any tips or recommendations for my trip. Of course I would also be glad for the opportunity of staying somewhere :)

Jumped out of a plane at 4000 km with a parachute (a great experience I do not need to repeat :))

Teach, Learn, Share

- of course I can teach german and I am confident enough to say that I could also teach some english
- Ive been playing guitar for about five years and somewhat rusty but could still show you a couple of tabs
- I visited a dancing school for latin american dance for four years so hit me up if you want to learn some dance moves :)

I intend to enroll in a course for mandarin during my masters so some basics in the chinese language would be awesome to learn.
