Currently, living in San Diego, CA. I love being close to the water, although I have not taken advantage of it as much as I would like to! I like that I step outside of the house and see the ocean every single day, though!

I'm a very easy going person, and enjoy a diverse range of activities. I used to be a hard core runner, and I'm currently trying to get back into that rhythm again. I love following baseball, and playing the sport even more. It was my first sport as a child, and I have never let it go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know that every person has their own story, background, and experience to share and tell. And I get thrilled when I am able to exchange that with all the people in life one encounters. It's surreal how different life is for everyone in the world, and we sometimes get caught up in our own existence/life, yet there is so much more to life than who I am!

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite music is country music and 90's/00's rock/punk. But I have quite a good diversity in the different tunes I enjoy; rap, classical, classic rock, reggae, jazz, etc.

I love comedy movies with interesting content. Lately, I've enjoyed the modern animated movies for kids; they have a lot of comical trivia and anecdotes, which I believe isn't intended for kids. I'm not big into sci-fi and horror movies.

I do enjoy reading, but lately it hasn't been my biggest forte. I like reading a lot of western literature, the classics, history, religious/historical, spanish leterature/history. I'm currently reading "The Pilgrimage " by Paulo Coelho, and a book about latin american history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've rafted down the Mendoza River, in Mendoza, Argentina. That's been one of the biggest rushes of my life, as well as some of the coldest water I have been in! It was the smartest option for a hot summer day in Mendoza.

I like to learn from every person's history. Every individual has a different culture and history to share, but even within your own culture there is so much diversity. And I always receive each person in my life as a life experience, to share with and learn from.
