About Me

At the time I'm writing this I'm 21 years old and have yet neither traveled far nor often. Still I feel an urge in me to go outside, discover and see the world.
My passion lies in music. Especially the guitar is a big part of my life, as well as singing. It's rare to find me in silence, not humming some strange or known tune.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my desperation to up my traveling life, I want not only to discover foreighn places, countries and citys, but to meet their people and learn their ways of living.
It's one thing to visit a city, staying at a nice hotel and rushing through all the tourist attractions. I believe it to be a totally diverse experience to get to know a place through the eyes of a local.

Interests

Making and creating music on whatever instrument i can take hold of!
Bouldering, climbing in low heights (is getting popular, still often needs explanation)
For a long time I acted in a local theatre community, yet my budy student life now doesn't allow it anymore.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a guitar playing singer I recently can't stop listening to and admiring Ed Sheeren. Other bands and musicians I listen to are: US3, Heavytones, Tower of Power, Red Hot Chillipeppers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, just to name a few of them.

There are epic films like the Lord of the Rings Triology that I enjoy for pure entertainmant. Nevertheless I prefer inspiring movies like Cloudatlas, Chef or into the Wild.

Concerning books, I primarily read on the ways I travel daily. Lukily enough I spend a lot of time in trains and busses. Chronicler of the Winds was the book that moved me the most recently, as well as The Book Thief did. When looking for good old, brutal entertainment i presently read every book of Joe Abercrombie i can get my hands on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014 I hiked across the alps, from southern Germany to northern Italy, accompanied by two friends of mine.
Exhausting, excruciating, painfull, amazing!

-> Things i've learnd on the way: leave more air in your backpack.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to play guitar or in general something musical, at least I hope so.
Concerning other things i can't think of anything at the moment. Maby something will come up in a nice talk.

I'm eager to learn everything! There is this slight problem concerning my ability to memorize things I've learnd for a long time, but we will get over this!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a generally happy person. You practically can't find me in a bad mood. Share a laugh with me and have a good time. Thats all I can offer. Sorry.
