关于我

My name is Felix Zierz and I am 19 years old. Last year I successfully passed my A-levels at a German high school and now I am work and traveling through Canada which has been one of my personal goals for quite a while now. I want to see the breathtaking North American landscapes, the calm, deep forest, the wide lakes as well as the Rocky Mountains and the Niagara Falls, the wildlife next to modern cities as well as the people and the culture. But I don’t just want to visit it like a tourist; I want to become a part of it.
I am a cheerful, open minded and reliable person.
In my free time I also like to draw, take pictures with my camera and play the ukulele wich I also took with me.
By spending my time here in Canada I hope to improve my foreign language skills, see many aspects of the Canadian culture as well as the stunning landscapes and to connect with locals.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The one thing I love most about traveling through Canada is meeting all those great people along the way I can call my friends now. With Couchsurfing I hope to get in touch with new people I would have otherwise never got the chance to meet and to exchange our stories while also seeing some off the grid tourist attractions.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Accidentaly breaking in into the Vancouver Aquarium:
When I arrived in Canada (Vancouver), on my seccond day, it was late october, I went into the Stanley Park. While walking around it started to rain so I was seeking shelter at the closet builing I could find. It was the backside of an old building which later turned out to be the Vancouver Aquarium. I tried to open the door (but it was locked from the outside) and a staffmember from the Aquarium who wanted to leave, opened it for me, let me in and went outside (Probably assuming that I was working there). So I looked around and walked down a long hallway, seeing other staffmembers preparing food. Feeling lost I asked one of them if they could bring me back outside, they smiled and guided me into the actual aquarium, assuming I was a lost customer who allready paid 40$(?!) entry. So I started to look around, watched the dolphin show, saw a sloth and a ton of colorful fish and touched some sting rays (All for Free!)

cool stuff i just recently did:
Kajaking in the Columbia River
Hiking and climbing in the Rockies

I could show you how to play the ukulele and tell you some native legends I got to pick up while traveling the west coast of canada.
I would love to learn about you, your personal story, the city you live in and anything you know that I dont.
I hope I can share an amazing time and a great experience with you, perhaps even some of my cookies.
