ABOUT ME

I love to travel, to meet new people and to learn new things. Other stuff that's important includes spending time with friends and playing sport: football, golf, tennis, and dancing salsa.

At various stages I have been a mathematics teacher, which I loved, an English teacher, which was fantastic and management consultant, which, err, made me stronger I guess.

Quite fortunately I escaped to live and study in Mexico - I did applied linguistics at UNAM last year.

PHILOSOPHY

Quite Buddhist, perhaps? I meditate most days. I think being happy is the most important thing in life and this comes from two things: being able to learn and treating people kindly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted two people at my family home here in the UK. But it's not the most interesting place so it's not really on the tourist trail. I hope to live somewhere more interesting in the future and to host more people. And to surf, as well, of course!
