ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Felix. I am open-minded and always mesmerized by different cultures and people, and that's why I surf, I host and I make friends.

When I host, I can help you plan the whole schedule, show you around and take you to some really nice restaurants (I can proudly say I am a qualified tour-guide here). On top of that, I have quite a lot of bizarre Chinese stories to tell! Haha

When I travel, I learned so much from the people I met. And one great word I learnt is COURAGE. The readiness to open up to total strangers and share things as world citizens. I really enjoy the feeling! I am a huge fan of photography and I can walk all day capturing the beauty from the smallest things.

Anyway, I am enjoying my couchsurfing & backpacking experience and I hope to meet more and more awesome people in the future.

Got to know this site from a magazine. Actually started from 2012.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted some Chinese friends and also some foreign friends. And I made sure I left them with a great surfing experience.

I started surfing about 2 years ago, and I find it great fun. I once shared a room with 5 other couchsurfers in Cambodia with no air-conditioning, we talked and laughed. The more I travel, the more courage I have.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A trip to Tibet. One night in the Mount Everest Camp base . Saw a water burial ceremony at 5:00 near Brahmaputra River.

I know a lot about the history, literature and customs of China; I had a fantastic trip to Tibet; I am a amateur photographer and I have more that 100 Gigabytes of photos of different place in China that I'd like to share with others.
