I'm a 31 year old living and working in London. I live with my girlfriend in South East. After a year of backpacking through all of 2015 we're now back and settled back into London life. I work at Amnesty International in the campaigns team. Now looking to play it back by hosting surfers looking to stay in London.

Having spent a year travelling the world and having amazing experiences being hosted by counchsurfers, its time to start hosting! I love meeting new people, and would really like to help people enjoy their time in London, which I know can be a big and daunting city. Plus there's so much to see here that you might never hear about without a local contact.

I'm passionate about the out doors, so wherever I go I'm always heading straight out to find the local beauty spot. Hiking and swimming are big favourites. Having studied history at university it remains a passion and I read a lot of
modern European history writing. That said, I'm a city dweller in the UK so also love getting to know a new town, finding great place to eat or bar a drink. I'm a strong believer that people give cities their character and spirit so I'm always looking to meet a local to get a real feeling of what a place is like.

Music taste is fairly varied but I like a lot of electronic music, from
Aphex Twin to Caribou and hospital records. I'm also a big ska fan and am keen on hip hop.
Movies, I like the classics but again have varied taste. I like anime, particularly the Miyazaki stuff. Also a big 'box set' fan and have watched the wire, sopranos, Treme, deadwood, true detective etc.
Books tend to be non fiction, with European history and sports biographies high on the list, buoy I do like a bit of noir and the odd thriller.
