CURRENT MISSION

To surf on your couch! To visit some places in Turtle Island and travel my way down into Latin America. A lot the most inspiring poetry and literature has come out of California for me. Most notably Gary Snyder's land inspired poetry and would love to see what inspired him and others.

ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Felix. I enjoy hiking, boogying, asking myself who I am, I like the group 'air' as it were - Like communal projects I can work on and get excited about with others. I also find it refreshing to spend time alone and come back to myself every now and then.

Finished an English BA and focused Gary Snyder and cultural relationships to the land. A subject still close to my heart. I'd love to see some wilderness spaces in my travels and spend plenty of time hiking.

I really enjoy Feldenkrais, an awareness through movement exploration. Discovering how we hold our selves and move and this relationship to emotion / who we imagine ourselfs to be perhaps. Akin to Alexander Technique I've heard... I intend to study this in the next few years.

On reflection, all this makes me sound quite serious, I'd just like to add I'm a very relaxed person :)

More experienced in impromptu couch surfing... When needs arise around me I've offered and received couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed on a couch in Brighton through this site. Have spent most of the last several years living in tight and shared accomodation so not really in a position to offer a space as of yet.

Practiced in the Dorn Method; http://www.dorn-method.com/ has some info about it.

Would like to practice this more as I've completed my initial training and to become a qualified practitioner I need lots more practice. Each session takes 45 min - 1 hour. It is a lovely, simple treatment which works to align the patients joints and spine in a gently and non evasive way...
