I am a Master student studying in Copenhagen. As new cultures and countries always fascinate me I have left my hometown Hamburg four years ago and have since then found my way jumping between Denmark and China.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Understanding other cultures and sharing their way of living has always been in the center of my interests. When visiting a new country, city I don't want to be the typical tourist watching everything from the outside - I want to be the one sharing ideas, meet new inspiring people from other countries and hopefully also join them in their evening activities (Dinner, part) As soon as I have my own apartment in Copenhagen I would love to provide the same experience and insights to other couc surfers!

Interests

I love to cook and hang out with other people. In my dorm in Copenhagen I sometimes have to cook for 15 people -others might be terrified by this thought, I love to assemble lots of people around a dinner table. I am interested in music ( playing the sax) so if there is any place with life music (clubs, bars) around, I am excited see it! Otherwise try me with tennis

Music would range from Fritz Kalkbrenner over Little Dragon to Nouvelle Vague
Movies would definitely be Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, the King's Speech to Tiger and Dragon

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I teached German in a Chinese Middle School for a year, far away from any English speaking person in one of the warmest cities in China!
