ABOUT ME

I'm an existence of conflict.
I always expect the best yet prepare for the worst;
I could be extremely empathetic yet sometimes cold;
I'm warm and supportive but I could be aloof from people I don't like;
I always throw myself into the strange but fancy world but I still enjoy curling in my own comfort zone;
For things I love I have longlasting passion and crazy power of action but fundamentally I'm lazy;
I may seem normal (if you think so you are fooled), but deep down I'm a rule-breaking freak!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was born and raised in an average family in a small city. 10 years ago, I could never imagine I can travel to so many places with my own money. 5 years ago, before I went abroad for the first time, I was so nervous that it literally made me a bit nauseous when thinking of landing on a strange land full of strangers speaking a different language.

But look at me now!

I've been to many places in China, parts of America and Australia, and almost everywhere in New Zealand. And I'm about to go to Southeast Asia and South Asia. South America would be a bit further down the road, but it's already in my plan.

I've tried biking from chengdu, my hometown, to Lhasa, Tibet, which took me a month and I climbed up 12 mountains that's more than 4000 meters high. And I've tried many things I wouldn't think of doing even 2 years ago: hitchhiking, couchsurfing, bungi jumping, skydiving, wwoofing on a farm(which entailed jobs like cutting wools full of crap off a ship's butt for a whole day and I ended up covered in sheep feces but trust me it's fun ), and going for a 3-day long trek with 6 kilo's backpack.

Well, so I guess the most amazing thing I've done and I always keep doing, is to push myself out of my comfort zone and try anything that seems fun, though they could be scary, challenging, arduous and painful in the process.

But then when I'm old, I have lots of stories to tell my grandchildren.
