We are two Ladies with matching Flannel who recently met in Perth. We have decided to work our way around Australia and stop in Darwin to save for an auto-mobile to continue our travels. We are in desperate need of new skills and would love if you could teach us yours...what ever they may be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is our first time couch surfing but we have been staying with locals we meet along the way.

Interests

Life in general...we are both constantly coming up with new ideas to make life interesting, we have fun wherever we go...Right now we are very interested in our new headlamps, You wouldn't believe how much better life is with a headlamp. We love the outdoors , Camping,the ocean, and we have a survival book that we practice random survival techniques from. We're not much into partying, but will have a beer here and there. We're great company and full of laughter, although we've recently discovered that our jokes are not very funny.

Other than that... Roadtrips! We love just sitting in a car, listening to music and looking out the window.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We created a national swim with Beards day.....the idea is basically to wear a fake beard and swim in it...or if your short on cash just find a person with a beard and convince them to swim with you .....once we went to Salvos and dressed up all day posing as manicans in the display window....... A couple weeks ago we smelled smoke and thought perhaps the house was on fire so we both frantically searched the house only to realize it was a BBQ on the balcony below us.....thank heavens we thought, no fire.....hmmm we are a little hungry....so we decided to lower a corn on a string down to the BBQ....the people reacted more than lovely when they saw a piece of corn on a string lowering to their BBQ and cooked it right up for us.....they sent it back up in a bag, on the string and together Terry and i feasted on BBQ corn.....thanks strangers on the floor below us now that's amazing.
The uniqueness of Australia's wildlife and landscape is beyond anything either of us have ever seen. This place alone is one of the most amazing things we've seen.

We are both learning the guitar, we carry little travelling guitars and are learning from people along the way.We would like to meet creative fun and boring people to exchange skills. Don't try and hide your skills....we will find them and use them.......but not for evil.
