Hi! I'm a social anthropologist and journalist. Originally from Russia, I currently live in Argentina, where I'm pursuing a PhD in Social Anthropology at the Universidad Nacional de San Martín. For 12 years I am connected with Latin America, and I am completely in love with the region and it's people. Two years ago, I migrated from Russia to Argentina because of the war: I support Ukraine in this conflict. Always ready ti provide horror stories from dictatorship in Russia, jajjaja (no, seriously)

Alongside my studies, I run a small independent magazine in Russian. I'm passionate about cultural diversity, storytelling, and understanding how people shape and experience the world around them. As an anthropologist, I conduct fieldwork in the Selva Central of Peru with the Asháninka people. The people there are incredible, and I find my research deeply fascinating.

My work focuses on the interaction between state healthcare systems and Indigenous women. I’m particularly interested in how different medical practices and perspectives intersect in these contexts.

In the past, I used to work in the refugee mission in Moscow and in the documentary filmmaking industry. So, I'm always interested in charity and social programs.

Like all travelers, I love to learn new things, meet new people. I love nature and culture of other countries. But most of all I like authentic places, where you can find the native life, the current culture, the current reality of the country. I don't really like sightseeing, for me it is more important to find something really unique from modern history or everyday life.

So, it's my current mission. I don't know what will be next years, but keep in touch!
