ABOUT ME

My name is Jim, I live in the United States in the "old" west. Grew up working with livestock and on the family farm. I got into music at a young age and have run with it ever since. I began playing cello at the age of 5 and since then i have moved on to guitar which i have played for about 6 years, and i absolutly love the blues! Im a fun, creative, energetic, easy to get along with type of person. I love being around people, meeting new people, and learning all that I can about anything in general really.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that life is one of those things that just happens. I dont know if the human race is here for some greater calling, but I know that life is short, so have no regrets, I mean, no one gets out alive anyway haha.

I am a musician at heart. I have done alot of different thing through my working years and nothing has really caught my eye yet. Hope to one day make a career of the whole music gig.

I also love cars. Cars and mechanics are another passion of mine, if i get into the car talk grove, its hard for me to get out haha. My altime favorite car is a 1969 Camaro SS white with orange stripes :)

Alltime favorite guitarist is Stevie Ray Vaughan, next downt the line would have to be Eric Clapton. Really into the whole blues movement from the turn of the century to about 1970's. Love Led Zeppelin, The Doors, AC/DC, Cream...the list goes on and on. Even though I have my sights set on blues right now, it is not all I am limited to. I listen to a huge variaty of music from Bach and Mozart to Eddie Van Halen and Jimi Hendrix.

Probably my alltime favorite book(s) would be the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. I love to read, dont know what i would do without books, well the literary world for that matter. Although I am pretty big into the big screen too.
My favorite movie of all time would be Lonsome Dove, its an old western. I really enjoy television shows such as Nationaly Geographic, Discovery and the History channel.

My whole life has been a trip in itself. I think that the one thing I have done that not many have, is live the way of the cowboy. I was born and raised on a ranch in the heart of the old west of the Americas. I have done everything from riding horses to working in weather that is almost unbearable, and just for having those types of experiences really sets me apart from a vast majority of society. Im not saying this to impress anyone, just to impress upon.
