ABOUT ME

5'11'' blonde hair, blue eyes, 139 pounds, Aries with rising sign on the cusp of Capricorn and Aquarius, I like tigers and my favorite color is red, I grew up in the wilderness of northern Canada. Its given me a love and appreciation for nature, yet a yearning for crowds.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that like a lotus in the swamp, we can turn mud and decay into beautiful bloom. When the world hurts me, it does not make me cold, it makes me warmer. I know that we are all like dogs, or children, and the only reason a person ever lashes out is because they hurt. We need to relearn how we share our pains with people. Instead of forming another link in the drama chain, we need to channel it into the creation of art that expresses how we feel. It takes more effort, its like redirecting a river, but it means the difference between a world of war, or a world filled with dance and song.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I only heard about this three days ago so this is a hard question. I know when I settle down my couch will be open. And I really do try to spread love wherever I go. I dont like to think I'm staying for free.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am on a friends couch right now in San Diego. I've couch surfed with family, but they all made me feel guilty for it and unwelcome.
During my early teenage years I practically lived on my best friends couch, it was a place of refuge from the drama at home.

Interests

MUSIC! It is the altar I kneel before.
I really love artistic flair applied to anything, fashion, food, architecture, and of course paintings and the like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experiences I've ever had were probably Native American sweat lodge ceremonies. Transcendental.
Aside from that, seeing Jane's Addiction before they broke up was amazing. Lollapalooza 2005 was special for me. I also fell in love a few times this life. LOL

Teach, Learn, Share

I know quite a bit about health and nutrition, from a western scientific viewpoint and by ancient ayurvedic and chinese methods. I dabble in feng-shui and astrology. I also practice level 2 reiki. I also can teach what I know of singing, drumming and the guitar.
