Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Building an organic sustainable food forest
ABOUT ME
I spent a year of my life living in a tree house and that had a fairly profound effect on me. I am endlessly fascinated by nature, from the tiniest insect to the largest tree. I live and work in the amazing Blue Mountains, surrounded by National Park. There is a great community of people here and whenever I go travelling I realise how lucky I am to live here!
PHILOSOPHY
To tread lightly on this earth

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Interactions with animals are often the most memorable things that happen to me. I've been licked by a Goanna (giant lizard), kissed by a butterfly, sniffed by a badger, pecked by a cockatoo (and an Emu!),bitten by a Brush tailed Possum, wrestled with many venomous snakes (thank you Australia!)and frequently been eaten alive by Mosquitos.
Hitch hiked around Cuba, Venezuela and Colombia
Lived in a tree house for a year
Stuck my head in the crater of an active volcano in Guatemala
Rode a horse through the mountains of Mongolia
Chased a wild turkey with a machete in New Zealand
Froze my ass off camping on the highest mountain in Morocco
Teaching bike mechanics in Namibia
Stroked a wild cheetah in Africa (they purr.....!)
Yeah ok I know it said ONE thing........
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes! Well ain't this what life is all about? (Teaching, Learning, Sharing). Thanks to things like CS we have more opportunity now to do this. Fantastic
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lots of stories! Way more information about Australian plants and animals than you'll ever need to know.....
Great organic food (fresh veggies from my garden)
The best places to swim and walk in the blue mountains
