ABOUT ME
I'm a new faculty member at UALR, teaching public and nonprofit management.
I'm a bit of a geek. I like dark beer. I can be kind of sarcastic, and a little opinionated when I'm really drunk.
I'm not good at describing myself, so I've run out of things to say. But people tell me that I'm pretty easy to hang out with, and I typically can get along with people from all walks of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been telling people about this site for a long time before I actually made an account. Silly, huh?
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was bored on a Sunday evening and went to the local bowling alley for a couple of beers and some bar food. There was a really great singer/songwriter who was on tour, and he announced that he was looking for a couch for the night, so he didn't end up sleeping in his car. I offered him mine. The next day we goofed off and had crappy mexican food and he played guitar. Very fun.
There are more stories, but I'm as good as recalling them as I am describing myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing the ruined stairs by the lakeside in Chisinau, Moldova. Or maybe swimming in the glacier lake in Alaska. Or chasing a huge nassau grouper around an old shipwreck off Andros in the Bahamas. Hard to choose, but that's really the extent of my amazing-ness.
