CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to have a great time and meeting nice people from everywhere as I look for my degree in Physics. As I follow my goals, I love to travel and I look for meeting more travellers.

ABOUT ME

I am a very curious guy. I was born in a small city in the north of Mexico. People over there tend to be close-minded. Since I was young I felt as a caged bird in my city so as soon as I finished high school, last summer, I left my hometown and since then I've been in many places as a traveler, as a volunteer, or currently as a student at my country's capital. I like meeting new people from different places and sharing a little bit of each other's culture. I love road tripping and sleeping under the stars, playing some nice music, sharing a smoke, living the moment. My goal is to be a great astrophysicist and do great contributions to science and the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe the most important thing in life is to be conscious of everything. The infinite search for knowledge and understanding of The Truth. Life is a gift, product of millions of years and generations fighting for survival in nature's way. We have to make life something worthy and memorable. Living in the past will keep us further from our dreams so let go and go on.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in society at my very own way. Most important of all, I try to make an impact in everyone I meet in a positive way. Last semester I worked as a volunteer in Chichuahua (Mexico) as an elementary school teacher in a very poor indigenous town with the Tarahumaras. After that I volunteered in Tabasco (near the Guatemalan border) in a shelter for illegal immigrants from South America in a famous shelter named "la 72". I look for giving a helping hand in anything possible.

I love to play chess, watch movies, weekend drinking, reading great books, nice chatting, smoking some of that good-good, go out for a walk and staring at the sky.

My favourite movies are Watchmen by Zack Snyder and Into the Wild by Sean Penn. My favourite band is Red Hot Chili Peppers and Angus & Julia Stone. My favourite books are Anna Karenina written by Leo Tolstoy and Siddharta by Herman Hesse.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

One of the most influencing experiences in my life was my first road trip to Southern Mexico (Chiapas, Tulum, etc.) with scarce money and by myself when I was 17 years old. The other great experience of my life was my time as a volunteer where I met great people and in the middle of nowhere, with no light, no signal, and by myself with people who barely spoke Spanish, I simply enjoyed nature and staring at the great colourful skies.
