An adventurer with a keen eye for scenic locations and wonders of the world, with the curiosity of a cat and the tenacity of a wolf. Maybe. Taking my motorbike to the mountains to enjoy the ride and the view, sleeping under the stars, gazing at the aurora in the arctic... some of the things I like to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sometimes you go visit places, but while you see what your eyes show you or the guidebooks tell you, you don't really get to know them... their history, the people who live there, their background, their traditions. It's nice to meet with people and experience that even continents apart, despite the different countries, languages, traditions, people are just like the people you know back home. Also, never underestimate the power of local knowledge - I've got some great advice on where to go, what to see.
As for Couchsurfing... sometimes things just don't work out the way you hoped... e.g. when you find the place you'd like to go to is all booked out.

Interests

I like to explore and marvel at the beauties of the world. Therefore I travel; if I can, then touring on motorcycle, or bicycle. I like to capture the wonders of the world with photography, to show people what a wonderful world we live in.

I've been to the arctic to make a short time-lapse movie of the Aurora Borealis.
